Beta Chi Chi, Inc. Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc.
Beta Chi Chi, Inc. of Chi Eta Phi Sorority Inc. in collaboration with community partners, provides financial assistance to student nurses who meet established criteria. Scholarships are given locally to student nurses enrolled in an accredited school of nursing.
Applications are open and due October 20th of each year for distribution at the Annual Founder’s Day Awards and Scholarship Luncheon held each October.
Scholarships are awarded each year:
- Dr. Betty Marian and Mr. Moses McKinley Anderson Scholarship
Dr. Betty Marian Anderson began a scholarship in honor of her and her husband depositing $20,000 in a designated account. This allowed the Chapter to annually award a $1,000 scholarship to a deserving student nurse.
- Beta Chi Chi, Inc. Scholarship
The Chapter developed an annual Beta Chi Chi Nursing Scholarship, awarding two $1,000 to student nurses meeting specific criteria.
- Jordan Health Center Scholarship
This scholarship was established by Dr. Janice Harbin, President and CEO of Jordan Health, awarding $1,000 to a student nurse in support of diversifying the future of the nursing workforce.
